Important Changes to Billing Policy
Dear Patients,
We are writing to inform you of the important changes to our billing policy at Myhealth Chatswood. Due to limited Medicare rebates and rising costs, to maintain the high quality of care, our clinic will move to a mixed billing model effective on 3 rd July 2023 for all consultations during weekdays and weekends (Saturdays).

Dr. Derlon Hui’s Schedule

Myhealth Chatswood opened in April 2014. It is located within Chatswood Chase shopping centre, next door to Terry White Pharmacy on the lower ground floor. Our aim is to provide comprehensive, evidence-based medicine and care.
We have available additional allied health services in one convenient location – covering Dietitian services, Pathology collection, Physiotherapy and Psychology.

Additional Gap fees may apply for all procedures (including procedures, and Implanon insertions/removals).
The following patients are eligible for bulk-billing during weekdays only:
- Patients aged under 12
- Pensioner Concession card
Patients who hold Health Care cards and Commonwealth Seniors Health Cards are eligible for a reduced gap of $20 out of pocket after rebate during weekdays only.
After your appointment, please return to reception to pay for the full consultation fee upfront and receive a rebate from Medicare as per Medicare rules. If you bring your debit/savings card, you will be able to get your Medicare rebate instantly, otherwise a receipt will be provided to you for you to claim from Medicare.
International students, workers and visitors will be charged privately as per our practice fee. ALL OSHC/OVHC members will be required to pay the full fee and claim back through their membership provider.
CANCELLATION / NON-ATTENDANCE POLICY
We have a Cancellation/Non-Attendance policy for all appointments. If you do not cancel or reschedule at least 2 hours prior to your GP appointment time and fail to attend, a fee of $40 applies before you can make any further bookings. We thank you for your understanding.
BEHAVIOUR WITHIN THE PRACTICE AND ON THE PHONE
Our practice and staff have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of aggressive or intimidating behaviour, verbal or physical. Any person acting in an aggressive or intimidating manner in the surgery will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Likewise, if they act in an aggressive or intimidating manner over the phone, the phone call will end immediately.
