Carmen is an accredited practising dietitian and nutritionist. Carmen graduated in 2009 after completing a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics in research at Griffith University. Prior to this, Carmen had completed her Bachelor of Science Nutrition at Wollongong University in 2007.

Carmen started working as a private practice dietitian in the multidisciplinary health clinics since 2009. This position has provided Carmen with a vast range of experiences including managing patients with diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidaemia, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney diseases, coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, weight management, PCOS, and insulin resistance.

Carmen participates in continuing professional development programs regularly to help ensure she is continually building the knowledge and skills in nutrition. She is passionate about providing individual consultation in a patient-centred, motivational and caring manner. She aims to provide her patients with the latest scientifically proven dietary strategies to manage diet-related chronic diseases.
