**BILLING CHANGES EFFECTIVE 17th Oct 2022**
Due to rising cost, limited Medicare rebate and overwhelming demand for our doctors’ appointments, Myhealth Doncaster will now be charging a gap fee of $20-$30 for ALL patients on weekdays, as of 17th Oct 2022. On weekdays, we will only bulk bill subsequent visits for pensioners and children 12 years old and under.
All Weekday appointments incur a $30 gap fee.
All Saturday appointments incur a $40 gap fee.
All NEW patients (including Pensioners, Healthcare Card holders or children 12 and under) incur a once-off $30 gap fee.
NO-SHOW fee of $40 applies for ALL appointments if appointments are not cancelled at least 1 hour prior.
Procedure gap fees range from $50-200 depending on your procedures.
Skin checks incur a $100 gap fee, and Skin biopsies start at $75.

Myhealth Doncaster is a high quality fully accredited medical centre conveniently located inside Westfield Doncaster. We host a team of qualified, dedicated and caring doctors who are supported by wonderful caring nurses and committed helpful reception team.
We are located on the first floor of Westfield Doncaster, near the Centre management offices, Country Road and JNBY.
We also provide extra services like Ear suction, Ear syringe, ECG, Full Body Skin Checks and Iron Infusion.
We have highly specialised doctors that are capable of performing full body skin checks with us here at Myhealth Doncaster – Each doctor has their own routine of completing a skin check, however generally all areas of the skin will be checked using a hand held skin microscope called dermatoscope.
For your added convenience we also accept online bookings, which has the convenience of online cancellation.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
We are a non discriminatory, inclusive and caring clinic. We welcome everyone. We are dedicated to care and help everyone with respect and courtesy.
However, our practice have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards any intimidating or aggressive or violent behavior in the clinic. Any person acting in an aggressive or intimidating manner in the clinic towards our reception or clinical staff or other patients will be asked to leave the premise immediately. We will also notify the police. Likewise, if any person acting in an aggressive or intimidating manner over the telephone, the telephone call will end immediately. We may also terminate future medical services and care arrangements with any such persons.

All valid Healthcare Card holders are charged a reduced out of pocket fee of $20 on subsequent visits.
***NOTE: Fees may vary slightly due to Medicare rebates which vary for certain items e.g., mental health care plans, mental health consults, antenatal consults and chronic disease management plans.
We will continue to bulk bill all valid and existing Medicare children 12 years old and under as well as Pension card holders at
SUBSEQUENT visits on weekdays.
***NOTE: ALL Saturday appointments will be charged the full consultation fee (as above) with a $40 gap fee applied.
How will the fee be processed?
You will be charged the full amount of consultation fee to your credit or debit card at the end of your consultation. We then, process your Medicare Rebate on behalf of you electronically. The rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days.
Alternatively, please bring your debit card with you on your visit and we can process your rebate on the spot. Please make sure you have provided your updated Medicare details and sufficient fund in your account.
ALL Private Insurance members will be required to pay the full fee and claim back through their membership provider.
No-Show Policy
No show fee for any GP/Allied health appointment that is not cancelled at least 2 hours prior to the appointment: $40
