Profile

Special interests: Family medicine, minor procedures, travel medicine, paediatrics and adolescent health, women’s health including antenatal care, sexual health and contraception, Mirena and Implanon insertion.

Dr Adele Knights has a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Melbourne in addition to a Bachelor of Biomedical Science. Prior to specialising in General Practice, she worked in regional Victoria where she gained experience across a number of medical specialties, including completion of a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Adele enjoys all aspects of general practice and helping patients across the lifespan, from paediatrics to chronic disease. She has a special interest in Women’s Health and is able to provide Shared Antenatal Care at the Royal Women’s Hospital – Sandringham and Parkville, Monash Health – Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong and Casey, and Peninsula Health. She is also qualified to insert and remove both Implanon and Mirena devices.

In her spare time Adele likes keeping active, exploring design markets and having a meal with family and friends.
