An Chieh studied medicine at the University of Melbourne upon completion of his undergraduate degree. After finishing medical school, he worked at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne where he was also seconded to Werribee Mercy and Warrnambool Base hospitals.

After working for a few years as a hospital resident, An Chieh decided that preventative medicine and the breadth of General Practice was what interested him. In 2018 he began his General Practice training and has greatly enjoyed working in the community.

An Chieh is also currently finishing a Diploma in Child Health. An Chieh is particularly passionate about the health of the LGBTIQ+? community as well as sexual health and is always keen to discuss PreP for HIV prevention
