Dr Bijan Darabi is a Hawkesbury local, having been raised, schooled and now raising his own family in the area.

After completing his medical degree at Western Sydney University Campbelltown, he secured a posting to Hawkesbury and Nepean Hospitals for two years of medical and surgical training, with a focus on emergency medicine. During this time became a certificant of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.

Dr Darabi is now pleased to work in general practice in his local community where he aims to provide continuity of care for his patients and focus treatment on their individual circumstances. He enjoys getting to know his patients and helping them through whichever acute or chronic health problems they encounter. He remains involved in local emergency departments on a part-time basis.

His special interests include musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine and emergency medicine.
