Dr Lai completed his medical degree at the University of Western Sydney and undertook further training in Ophthalmology before he was awarded his Masters of Medicine (Ophthalmic Science) from the University of Sydney.

Since graduating, Dr Lai has worked in multiple hospitals and practices across Sydney and regional NSW, also functioning as a clinical lecturer for the University of New South Wales. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and offers general health checks, skin checks, minor procedures as well as consults for travel medicine, sexual health, weight loss management, and chronic disease. Dr Lai enjoys promoting a healthy lifestyle for his patients and encouraging a preventative approach to healthcare.

He has a particular interest in managing skin cancers, scars and general dermatological conditions in addition to general and facial aesthetic medicine.

Outside of work, he is an avid tennis player and enjoys snowboarding and travelling.
