Dr Francia Escobar completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Notre Dame Australia (Fremantle, Western Australia) and has worked at St George Hospital, The Sutherland Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital (Western Australia).

Prior to a career in medicine, she worked as a medical scientist, studying skin cancer and improved wound healing methods in the Burns Unit at Concord Hospital.

She has an interest in preventative health, women’s health and paediatrics.
