Dr Freya Paton originally completed a Bachelor of Science at the Australian National University in Canberra with an interest in immunology, genetics and microbiology.

She then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, training in hospitals across Brisbane and northern Queensland.

Dr Paton worked at the Gold Coast Hospital for two years before pursuing her interest in general practice. She has a particular interest in women’s health, irritable bowel and dietary disorders.

She has a young son and is passionate about helping women on the journey from trying to conceive, right through to raising a family.

Dr Paton also has extensive experience in work related injuries and work place medicals.
