Dr Winarta completed her medical degree at Bond University in 2010 and became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016.

She is an accredited Hepatitis B s100 community prescriber who can manage viral hepatitis and other liver conditions.

Dr Winarta has special interests in metabolic medicine (high BMI, diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome) and family planning (contraception and fertility concerns). She can perform both Implanon and intrauterine device (Mirena and Copper IUDs) insertion and removal.

Dr Winarta is passionate in providing holistic care in all members of a family and is a big advocate for ‘prevention is better than cure’.

In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her young family.
