Dr Mariam Chaalan is the newest addition to the team. She completed her medical degree at the University of Wollongong in 2013. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) at the University of Sydney. She has trained at Concord, Canterbury, St George, Sutherland, and Shoalhaven District Hospitals.

She is currently working towards fellowship recognition with the RACGP. She has a special interest in caring for women and young families and has additional qualifications in these areas including a Family Planning Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health and a Diploma in Children’s health. She is also an Antenatal Shared Care Provider with RPA Women and Babies, Canterbury Hospital, St George and Sutherland Hospitals. She is passionate about evidence-based preventative medicine and providing holistic care for all her patients.
