Dr Matt is a GP registrar who is from the Gold Coast. Completing his Biomedical and Medical Degrees at Griffith University he has worked at a number of Queensland Hospitals over the past 10 years. Having spent most of those years in Orthopaedics, he is happy to see a range of musculoskeletal complaints such as arthritis, broken bones, dislocations, ingrown toenails, wound infections etc. Since making the move to GP, he has really enjoyed the variety of presentations and is also happy to see a wide range of health complaints.  Proficient with steroid injections, Implanon insertion/removal. Minor surgical procedures. Please be aware that Dr Matt does not routinely prescribe some medication classes for chronic conditions like opiate pain killers (e.g. oxycodone) or benzodiazepines (e.g. valium, sleeping pills etc).
