Matthew graduated from The University of Queensland in 2011. He worked in a number of South East Queensland hospitals, including Logan Hospital, where he completed a Certificate of Women’s Health in 2014.

The following year he also completed the Diploma of Child Health and in 2018 completed the Membership Course for the Australian Institute of Dermatology.

Matthew enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interests in paediatrics, men’s health, women’s health and dermatology, including skin cancer medicine.

He also has an interest in medical education and enjoys teaching general practice trainees.

In his spare time he enjoys playing cricket, touch football, indoor soccer and spending time with his family.
