Dr Melanie Tait graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in 2000 and from the University of Sydney medical school in 2006, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian college of General Practitioners in 2013.

Melanie lives locally with her partner and 3 children and has worked at St Helena Mediplex since 2010. She has a particular interest in women’s health, paediatrics and aged care as well as shared antenatal care with the Mercy and Northern hospitals.
