Dr Nathan Engel attained his medical qualifications from Monash University in 2013. He spent the first few years of his postgraduate training working at Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton and at the Northern Hospital in Epping. Since then he has worked in general practice in many suburbs around Melbourne and was granted a Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2021.

Nathan especially enjoys helping those with complex and chronic health issues. This has led to him pursuing his special interest in treating people with medical cannabis and hopes to expand his practice with this service.

Outside of his work, Nathan spends his time enjoying his young family, trying his hand in DIY projects around the house and following the St Kilda football club on weekends.
