Dr Nikki Yates is a specialist fellowed GP with special interests in managing menopause, sexual and hormonal health, infertility management and pregnancy shared care. She enjoys all areas of womens’ health including adolescent medicine. She also offers in depth travel medicine consultations and enjoys managing long term health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and likes to focus on lifestyle medicine.

Dr Nikki trained in the UK gaining her medical degree in 2010 from Bristol university. She moved to Brisbane in 2012 to do emergency medicine and then returned to UK in 2014 to train as a GP. She completed extra training in obstetrics and gynaecology during this time. in 2018 she returned to the Gold coast to practice as a GP. She is focussing her work more in the area of womens healthcare and the areas listed above, and she is passionate about offering high quality healthcare by keeping up to date with the latest guidelines and training in these areas to improve health outcomes.

Outside of work Dr Nikki enjoys watersports, hiking and photography as well as training her beloved standard poodle “Pippa” in dog agility sports. You would usually find her at the dog park, in the ocean or camping in the rainforest.
