Dr Peter Wu graduated from the University of Melbourne with Honours in 2013. He completed dual specialist training at St Vincent’s Hospital, Austin Health and Northern Health and holds Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) as a Geriatrician and Internal Medicine Physician. Dr Wu currently works as a Physician at St Vincent’s Hospital and Eastern Health.
He has special interests in general internal medicine and aged care medicine, including memory and cognitive assessment, dementia, falls and balance, advanced care planning, and management of chronic diseases and polypharmacy.
He is passionate about the provision of holistic and patient-centred care to optimise quality of life for elderly patients both in the community and residential aged care facilities.
Dr Wu has a strong enthusiasm for medical education. He is actively involved in the mentorship and training of junior medical doctors, and is appointed as a tutor at the University of Melbourne.
