Dr Sanji Fernando graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2017 and subsequently completed his residency at Concord Hospital. Given his interest in complex chronic care, he undertook further training as an internal medicine registrar at Liverpool Hospital before entering into general practice. He completed a Masters of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) at the University of Sydney and has completed the Sydney Children Health Program to further enhance his paediatric skills. He spent one year working in Moree, developing his skills in rural medicine as a GP registrar and hospital VMO. He is also passionate about sports medicine.
