Shiv grew up in Sydney before moving to Queensland to complete his Doctor of Medicine at Bond University in 2017. He has spent significant time training and learning skills in Blacktown Hospital, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Bathurst Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Westmead Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital before starting General Practice.

He has trained in various fields of medicine during his hospital training including; significant exposure to Emergency medicine in Westmead Hospital and regional locations, paediatrics at the Children’s Hospital, geriatrics, orthopaedics, cardiology, respiratory medicine and radiology training.
He has also had training in Trauma and Emergency Departments in Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town, SA.

His areas of special interest include Preventative health, Weight Loss, Children’s health, Women’s health, Skin Cancer Medicine, Mental health, Work Cover and Musculoskeletal medicine.
His interests outside work including cycling, basketball and hiking.
