Dr Shoumyaa Thanaskanda completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Hons) at Monash University in 2019. She has worked across various hospitals at Peninsula Health with experience in Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Geriatrics, Rehabilitation Medicine and Emergency Medicine.

Out of Medicine, she enjoys playing the violin, travelling and swimming.

Special interests: Children’s health, mindfulness based interventions and mental health, preventative medicine, travel medicine, sexual health and women’s health.
