Dr Zaw Min (Zac) Thann graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Distinction from the University of Medicine 2, Yangon, Myanmar in 2006. He is a third generation general practitioner following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father.
He emigrated to Australia in 2008 and completed his Residency at Latrobe Regional Hospital ,gaining broad experience whilst in Accident and Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Geriatrics and Psychiatric wards.
He undertook Australian General Practice training with Southern GP Training, based in Gippsland, and has worked in General Practice at Breed Street Clinic from 2011 to 2017.
He was nominated for Registrar of the year in 2012, and successfully completed his General Practice Training and obtained Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners ( FRACGP) in October 2012.
He has also been awarded a Diploma in Child Health from Westmead Hospital,NSW in 2011, and Certificates in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine, Skin cancer therapeutics and Cosmetic Medicine, from the University of Queensland. ( 2014- 2017).
He is working full time with special interests in

He has spent last 9 years in Gippsland and recently relocated to Melbourne. He speaks English and Burmese. He loves travelling and likes to spend time with his dog, Rayne.
