Saturday Gap Fee: All patients will be charged a $40 gap fee for face-to-face consult and $52 for telehealth.
EPC Visits with Podiatrist: There will be a $15 gap fee for all EPC visits with our Podiatrist.
EPC Visits with Dietitian: Except for concession card holders, all EPC visits with our Dietitian will have a $15 gap fee from Aug 2023

Our Service:
Our practice provide a diverse range of services, including both in-person and telehealth consultations. Please find below a list of the services we offer.

Booking Appointments
Booking your appointments is quick and easy. You have multiple options to choose from: you can book online through our website or the MyPractice App, or you can also give us a call to schedule your appointment.

Telehealth consults eligibility
To qualify for a Telehealth Appointment in our clinic, in accordance with Medicare, patients must have had a face-to-face appointment at Myhealth Eastland (not Myhealth Ringwood) within the past 12 months. If you haven’t visited us within this timeframe, please consult our receptionist for alternative arrangements. We strive to ensure you receive the best care tailored to your needs.

Mask requirement
Creating a safe environment is our priority. We kindly patient to wear a mask to your appointment, helping us maintain a secure and protected space for everyone.

FEES

As a mixed billing clinic, a gap fee maybe applicable for your appointments. After completing your consultation, you will be billed for the full consultation fee. We will then electronically submit your claim to Medicare on your behalf. The rebate amount will be deposited into your bank account within few business days. Alternatively, you have the option to bring a debit or savings card, and we can process the rebate directly into your account immediately.

Weekday Fees
All face-to-face and telehealth appointments will incur a $30 gap fee. However, Health card card/Pension Card holders and children under 16 years are eligible for bulk billing.

Public Holiday
Please note that on public holidays, there are slight variations in fees. All face-to-face appointments will incur a $40 gap fee, and for telehealth appointments, the fee will be $52.

After-Hour Service (8pm to 11pm)

To book an after-hour service, please use our online booking system. The following gap fees apply:

• Telehealth:
Total Payments – $129.75, Gap Fee – $90 (for bookings before 6pm)

• Standard Home visit:
Total Payments – $199.25, Gap Fee – $120

• Extended Home visit:
Total Payments – $226.25, Gap Fee – $120 (for bookings after 6pm)

• Urgent Home Visit:
Total Payments – $257.25, Gap Fee – $120

Additional Information

Patients booking double appointments may have a higher gap fee depending on the attending GP.
All Flu and COVID vaccine bookings are bulk billed.
Bulk billing is at the discretion of the individual doctor.

Allied health Fees
Patients with a care plan can receive Medicare rebates for up to 5 allied health services per calendar year. It is important to keep a record of EPC visits with allied health providers. Once you reach the limit of 5 rebateable services, subsequent visits will be charged at the standard consultation fee. For detailed information on specific allied health or specialist service fees, please contact our clinic at 80801388. Our staff will provide you with accurate and up-to-date information.

OSHC/OVHC Consultations
For Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and Overseas Visitor Health Cover
(OVHC) consultations, the following gap fees apply
• Weekday Consults: $30 Gap fee for Face to Face and Telehealth Consultations.
• Public holiday Consults: $40 Gap fee for Face to Face and $52 Gap fee for Telehealth Consultations.

Cancellation notification and No-Show Policy
• For GP appointments, a $30 fee will be charged if the appointment is cancelled or missed within 2 hours of the scheduled time.
• For Allied Health appointments, a $30 fee will be charged for any no-show or cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
