Marvin is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) who graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise Physiology (Honours) from University of Sydney. He is a member of Exercise Sport Science Australia (ESSA). He has a strong interest in cardiometabolic health (cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, heart conditions), physical activity, and lifestyle changes. Being a Tennis Australia qualified Junior Development Coach, Marvin also has a keen eye for biomechanics and ergonomics to prevent injuries and rehabilitate musculoskeletal issues.

His experience as a massage therapist allows for a treatment plan that is a fine balance between passive and active modalities to achieve the best possible outcome for our patients.

What is an Exercise Physiologist?
AEPs are university qualified allied health professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities. Pathology domains covered by the services of AEPs include cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cancers, kidney, respiratory / pulmonary and mental health, and any other conditions for which there is evidence that exercise can improve the client’s clinical status.
