OUR FEES ARE CHANGING
From 27th Jan 2023, Our fees will increase and eligibility for bulk billing will change. All appointments on Monday to Friday will attract a $35 gap fee for patients aged 16-68. NON-ATTENDANCE POLICY
We have a strict Non-Attendance policy and by booking an appointment you are agreeing to adhere to this policy. Please note that if you do not attend your appointment and no notice is given to reception at least 1 hour prior to the appointment time you will have a non-attendance marked in your file. Once two non-attendance appointments occur, a $50 non-attendance fee will apply. In order to be able to consult with a practitioner in future, this fee would need to be paid prior to the appointment.
All appointments on Monday to Friday will attract a $35 gap fee for patients aged 16-68 (except healthcare card holders who will incur a $20 gap).
All appointments on Saturdays will attract a $35 gap fee for patients of ALL AGES except healthcare card holders will incur a $20 gap. The following patients will continue to be bulk-billed to Medicare for general consultations with no gap fee on
WEEKDAYS:
- Patients aged under 16
- Patients aged 68 or over (except new patients which will incur a one off private billing for their first consult)
- Appointments for COVID/Flu vaccines
We are very committed to providing high quality care to our patients and community. The reason for the introduction of a gap fee for some patients, is the rising costs of running a general practice and the reluctance of the government in funding these higher costs.
