Medibank Flu Vaccine
Dear Valued Patients,
We would like to inform you that the Medibank flu vouchers campaign has concluded.
Thank you for your participation. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact our practice.
We have a strict Non-Attendance policy and by booking an appointment you are agreeing to adhere to this policy. Please note that if you do not attend your appointment and no notice is given to reception at least 1 hour prior to the appointment time you will have a non-attendance marked in your file. Once two non-attendance appointments occur, a $50 non-attendance fee will apply. In order to be able to consult with a practitioner in future, this fee would need to be paid prior to the appointment.

OUR FEES ARE CHANGING
From 14th June onwards, all appointments on Monday to Friday will attract a $30 gap fee for patients aged 18-59, except healthcare card holders. All appointments on Saturdays will attract a $30 gap fee for patients of ALL AGES except healthcare card holders. The following patients will continue to be bulk-billed to Medicare for general consultations with no gap fee on WEEKDAYS:
• Patients aged under 18
• Patients aged 60 or over
• Patients with health care or pension cards
• Appointments for COVID/Flu vaccines

We are very committed to providing high quality care to our patients and community. The reason for the introduction of a gap fee for some patients, is the rising costs of running a general practice and the reluctance of the government in funding these higher costs.

We’ve made accessing a My Health GP in Wentworth Point or other health professional as convenient as possible whether you are looking for bulk billing or private medical services.

At Myhealth Wentworth Point, you can access both in-person and telehealth appointments with a Burroway Road doctor (please see the eligibility rules for Telehealth appointments). If you would like to register with a Burroway Road near Olympic Park GP at the Myhealth MyHealth Wentworth Point medical centre, simply click on the link and fill out the online form. Once registered, you can book appointments online and sign up for the MyPractice app which allows you to receive and view your medical information in a paperless format. With the app, you have secure access to your prescriptions, referrals, medical certificates, pathology results and more.
The Myhealth MyHealth Wentworth Point health clinic is open six days a week, from Monday to Saturday inclusive. We open at 8 am and close at 5:30 pm on weekdays and are open from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturdays. An after-hours service is also available via the National Home Doctors Services. If you need access to medical help when the clinic is closed, call us at 13 SICK (13 7425).
You can also access medical services during business hours as a walk-in patient.
